“More than 20000 style options in one place” is what fashion enthusiasts must be dreaming of! Well, no more a dream.
Reliance has broken down the industries of every segment to consolidate them under one name- Reliance. Conquering the segment of departmental stores, the brand has launched Reliance Centro- a department store focusing on the mid-premium segment. Shopping is an overwhelming experience for many and this perfect amalgamation of accessibility and brands that Reliance has pledged to provide its consumers is what is going to make this offering wonderful.
If you're a fashion enthusiast looking for a place where you can find everything from high-end designer labels to affordable fast-fashion brands, then this may just be your paradise.

But what does this shopping destination actually offer?
I visited the store a few days back and here is what I found- Not only clothing but also footwear and cosmetics to pair them up. The store had everything in place. The store seemed of- you name a thing and you will get one. But how? Well, under the name of Reliance Centro the Ambani’s have collaborated with all the brands you could think of that exist in the Indian market for the mid to premium segment.
“Reliance Centro is aimed at democratizing fashion in India, by strengthening its reach and connect with consumers in India,” Reliance Retail announced in a press release.
The store seems to be a home for every need of a person- cosmetics, clothes, lingerie, shoes, accessories, footwear, and what not! The store serves all the dedicated brands in different categories starting with Levis, and Wrangler to Avassa and Madame. Well, this is a real-world #collaboration I guess? So, if you are looking for a casual wear tee-shirt or a party wear suit this store is the one to count upon.
Let’s talk aesthetics!
The store of Centro is a store that gave more of a very premium store to enter for the middle segment of consumers all because of the rich and vibrant aesthetics. The well-lit interiors clearly categorized into segments all throughout the store offer a pleasing sight to the consumers. “Cutting the clutter” is exactly what could be defined by the store. '
A bright, spacious, and well-segmented store is how the space across the floors seems to be.

Segmentation of brands is something we might have experienced in other owned brands; stores of Reliance but, this segmentation and fineness in choices is what makes the store unique. The brands have their dedicated segments and sections. This categorization basis brand makes it easier for the consumers to not hunt among thousands of styles but, to go directly to the one they desire. The home of 300+ national and international brands is what you need to visit If you are hunting for jeans, you can find them segmented under brands and visit the section so well organized that you can never get wrong and doubtful about hah! I don’t know what have I bought.
But, Why Centro?
Upon visiting the store, the first question to tickle my thoughts was Why is this needed? Why is the store near Reliance Trends? Well, from all the logic that I could apply let’s decode the strategy together!
The Centro holds one unique feature that was highlighted throughout the journey from the entry gate to the exit – segmentation.
The clear distinction is an amazing tactic to consume the consumers’ time that might have been wasted because of juggling in and out of multiple stores. But, does this need a different store altogether?
The brands involved in this collaborated store had multiple options to choose a room but somewhere seemed confusing from a consumer’s end view. If you visit a dedicated store of the brand, you get all that you need- multiple options, sizes, colors, and aesthetics but, amongst the brands flooded in the store confusion develops in the mind of consumers. We often think that a section can never incorporate a brand hence visiting the dedicated store is a way better option than visiting a section in the store.
Well, what do you think? Is this something that might be hindering me from moving into the Reliance Centro and forcing me to go to the next store- reliance trends if I am looking for a casual wear kurta or mid-priced jeans?
Or Am I the problem?
